 What happened there sometimes that when you're stuck in network situations where this very less network or you're getting one or two points of network. It's very hard to call someone and very very hard to get some quality out of that call and it's very hard especially given the Indian scenario telecom industry call drops are very common sometimes especially in the rural areas and this is where Wi-Fi calling comes into the picture. 

                 So Wi-Fi calling is something that will allow you to route your calls over the Wi-Fi network so you can imagine something like voice over LTE but this time the calls are not happening over the LT internet network but they're happening over the Wi-Fi network. So definitely we know that Wi-Fi networks are more stable they allow more broadband and they allow more band width also that means that your calls will be much more of quality rather than on voice over LTE so definitely there is going to be quality difference between these two calls.

        Volte will be a little bit behind voice over Wi-Fi when it comes to quality of calls and there's of course the stability factor that call drops will be very very rare in case of voice over Wi-Fi. 

             
It's a new feature of course on all the new on all the cell phones mostly on all carriers Verizon Sprint and all that what really is it.                   Wi-Fi calling basically is using your Wi-Fi instead of your cell phone minutes our data plan that's that's all it is it's just like using Skype or at our face times as the ample time but FaceTime it you can't see people same thing. Now if there's no Wi-Fi because there's still places on this earth that's no Wi-Fi you can't use Wi-Fi callings.

                  If you've disconnect your Wi-Fi or move out of the Wi-Fi zone you won't experience call drops and another application that will voice over Wi-Fi brain is to the rural areas where government is deploying a lot of Wi-Fi hotspots so it is possible that these rural people might have Wi-Fi access but not exactly good cellular connectivity. In those cases also these people will get to make high-quality calls without any call drops even when they are lacking a cellular connectivity.
